Under the sponsorship of the CAS Albert Einstein Visiting Professorship Program, Prof. David Gross, 2004 Nobel Prize winner in physics, is going to give a public lecture entitled Einstein and the Quest for Unification on Sept. 29 in Beijing. He is going to discuss Einstein's search for a unified theory of all of physics and how this goal appears from the modern perspective.
Launched in 2004, the CAS Albert Einstein Visiting Professorship Program is designed to enhance the development of its leading scientists, raise the innovation capacity of its staff and strengthen their contacts and exchanges with scientific elites around the world. The organizers of this lecture are the CAS Institute of Theoretical Physics and the Graduate University of CAS.
